Kathmandu, 30 September 2021: Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Mr. Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury met the office bearers of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FNCCI) at their headquarters in Kathmandu today.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the President of FNCCI Mr. Shekhar Golchha briefed about the existing business relations between the two countries as well as their works as the umbrella organization of business groups representing more than 100 business associations in Nepal. The FNCCI leaders highly appreciated the measures taken by the Government of Bangladesh in dealing with the impact of COVID-19 pandemic which helped in sustaining the steady economic growth of the country. Terming Bangladesh as the second largest business partner of Nepal in South Asia, they called for the minimization of the trade gap between Nepal and Bangladesh.
