Ambassador calls on Rt. Hon. Prime Minister of Nepal

Kathmandu: Ambassador of Bangladesh to Nepal Mr. Salahuddin Noman Chowdhury paid a courtesy call on the Rt. Hon'ble Prime Minister of Nepal H.E. Mr. K. P. Sharma Oli at his official residence at Baluwatar on 15 March 2021.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the Prime Minister mentioned that Nepal and Bangladesh, as two friendly neighbours, enjoy excellent bilateral relations.  He hoped that the relations would further grow into meaningful cooperation in areas of trade, investment, tourism and connectivity in the near future.

Prime Minister Oli lauded the leadership of Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina in fighting for democracy and her hard work in pursuing an inclusive pro-poor socio economic development in Bangladesh.  Prosperity is not enough to be happy; social justice and equity, leaving no one behind, can only ensure happiness for the whole nation, the Prime Minister said.
